This blog is private, highly selective, literate, mutuals only and 18+. It is also friendly and accepting of Original Characters, AUs, crossovers, ships, & multimuse. replies run primarily from the queue; I work fulltime & am usually not available in the morning. my discord is available to mutuals who would like more heavy interaction ooc to either plot, chat, etc.

My portrayal of The Creature is heavily based on the original source text of the 1818 Mary Shelley novel, with minimal influences from other sources & my own headcanons, among other sources. I'm happy to clarify what I consider canon to my muse on request, as there is so much potential material under the Frankenstein banner it can be confusing.

While I'm fond of the new 2025 film adaption, I want to be clear that GDT Creature is not my muse!!! Please keep this in mind if you want to interact!

As stated above, I am selective & private; I will only thread with mutuals for my own comfort, & will be picky about who I choose to write with. When I consider following, I look for partners with a coherent set of rules, information easily accessible about their muse (& any quirks they may have), & posts cut and put under read-mores as necessary.

Generally if you are a decent person, & you have some sense of RP etiquette, I am much more likely to follow back or interact.

My text formatting is fairly minimal; small text, and usage of bold and italics for emphasis or to break up text. There will rarely be icons used on this account, though you are free to use them if you want! I do this to allow myself and others more freedom in interpreting what The Creature looks like.

Multi-para rp is preferred, but I am fine with one-liners, script / chat style, and others.

  • About The Creature's Name In the novel, The Creature is never given an actual name. In discussion it is common to refer to him as 'Adam, but he is not properly named thus at any point, just implicated to be similar due to the premise of his circumstances. Given this, the Creature will not have a given name going in to most interactions unless it is discussed before hand - feel free to have your muse give him a unique name once they've interacted enough!
